So today we have been given a new project. The project is to create a piece of film with a narrative that incorporates live action footage with CG.
We have to work in groups and each person has to create a short piece within the final footage to show what they have done. Within our group we have decided that everyone will do a bit of everything so we will each get a certain time bit of the final narrative that we have to create.
I think this project is going to be fun but very hard because there is so much to think about. The CG has to match the live action footage exactly, including lighting and positioning and movement.
The first port of call is to think of an idea. This could be hard because of the constraints of the green screen and studio.
I have plenty of ideas including cars and robots and other things but they will certainly not fit into the studio with the green screen. The other thing is that we have been told we are using certain cameras so I do not know if we can take them out and about. That is something to address next time.
So let the idea generation begin...
